ILEP

ILEP (Interim List of Eligible Programmes) was introduced by the Department of Justice and Equality on January 20, 2016. Only educational institutions included on this list are authorized to enroll non-European students for long-term courses. Erin College is among the schools listed on the Interim list.
ACELS

Initial ELE qualifications” pertain to any preliminary certification, typically acquired before entering the teaching profession, in TEFL / TESOL / ELE (or similar) programs. These qualifications grant successful trainees a certificate (or its equivalent) that authorizes them to partake in English language teaching.
The criteria for becoming an English language teacher in the recognized English language teaching sector specify that a teacher must possess an NFQ level 7 qualification (equivalent to an ordinary bachelor’s degree) along with a recognized ELE qualification.

English Education Ireland stands as the foremost and most enduring association of English Language Schools in Ireland.

ELT Ireland

ELT Ireland emerged from discussions that took place during the Digital ELT Ireland conference held in Dublin in November 2013, followed by a public meeting in January. Since our inaugural gathering in April 2014, we have been actively engaged in advocating for the advancement of English Language Teaching (ELT), both in Dublin, throughout Ireland, and online.

Moreover, they extend funding and assistance to researchers in academic institutions, facilitating the development, protection, and transfer of technologies to industry through licensing or the establishment of spin-out companies.
